MARBAT EQ — Privacy Policy

MARBAT EQ (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an equine care and record-keeping app operated by ProContentLab (Belgium). This policy explains what data the app processes, why, and your rights. We designed MARBAT EQ to be private by default: we do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking.

What we collect and why

Account information — if you sign in with email, we store your email address to create and secure your account. You may also use the app as a guest (an anonymous account with no email).
Your content — the horses, care records, training notes, weight entries, appointments, community posts and any photos you add. This is stored so it syncs to your account across your devices.
Approximate location — only if you allow it, and only to show local weather on the home screen. Your approximate coordinates are sent to the weather provider (Open-Meteo) to retrieve the forecast. We do not store your location and do not use it to identify or track you.
Optional social handles — Instagram/TikTok usernames you choose to add to your member profile.

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, browsing history, or any data for tracking across other apps or websites.

How your data is stored

Account and content data are stored on our backend provider Supabase using row-level security, so each account can only access its own data. Data is hosted on EU infrastructure. Photos you add are stored with your account.

Third parties

Supabase — authentication and database hosting (processor).
Open-Meteo — receives approximate coordinates to return local weather; no account or personal identifier is sent.
Apple — handles subscription payments via the App Store. We never receive your card details.

Subscriptions

Optional subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Privacy → Delete account in the app. This removes your account and all horses, records, appointments and photos from our servers and cannot be undone.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data. The in-app deletion covers erasure; for any other request, contact info@procontentlabbe.com.

Children

MARBAT EQ is intended for adults managing horses and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
